Great Guide to RV ParksWe have used Wheelers RV Resort and Campground Guide for years and have never found another guide as comprehensive, reliable and easy to use. If you are looking for the ideal companion to your camping or RVing adventure, this is the book to own. Plus, you can make reservations via a toll-free number at any of the RV resorts or campgrounds who advertise in the book. But don't think this is just a book of advertised parks. Virtually every campground in North America is here, even small county or state parks. With clear directions on how to find them. And if you ever find a campground not listed there is a form in the back to send in. You can even help the publishers rate the campgrounds one to four stars using the same form. It is the only guide which asks its users to help keep the ratings accurate.
Highly recommended for anyone who likes to take to the road. Whether you have an RV or a tent, this is a great resource.

Where the River Runs
Published in Mass Market Paperback by Tor Books (January, 1992)
Average review score:

one of the greatest bookswhen i finished reading this book i was so excited because of the message. the author shows me, through the main character (captain Owe), that the human being must have a goal in life and how much effort we need to reach it. we must do our best in order to get what we really want even we have barriers and tough moments. This book inspired me to write my own research paper for Literature (At the Univ)

The Wings of God: Miraculous Stories of Our Lord and His Angels at Work
Published in Hardcover by Waterbrook Press (17 October, 2000)
Average review score:

Credible stories of God's intervention/guidanceVery encouraging stories of God's leading in ordinary /extraordinary circumstances for everyday people. Well-written/ well-organized--modern & ageless stories-- drew my attention to the ways God intervenes that I often ignore. No sensational bizarre stuff. Good family reading--short stories--easily keeps attention of even the younger members of the family.

Witness to Appomatox

Very moving account of final days of Civil WarIn late March, 1865, Petersburgh & Richmond teetered on the brink of collapse. When the siege of Petersburgh ended in that city's collapse, Richmond was evacuated. The account of the burning of much of Richmond by Confederates (to prevent plundering by the Yanks) is haunting. First person accounts of Mrs. Lincoln's behavior during a visit to Virginia during the war's final days reinforce her reputation as a shrewish, self indulgent woman. There are accounts of Lincoln walking the streets of Richmond to the cheers of freed slaves and of Lincoln sitting at Jefferson Davis' desk in his abandoned mansion. After Petersburgh was evacuated, Lee tried to retreat from the Union forces but Grant dogged him the entire way. This was one of the true tragedies of the war. It was over but 2,500 troops were killed in these final skirmishes. It was so needless ... Lee should have surrendered when Richmond fell. The magnanimous termss of the surrender and the gallantry of both sides, however, was uplifting. Much of the tale of these final days is first person accounts and they are pieced together to form a coherent and moving account of the war's end.

Wolf Moon (Wheeler Large Print Book Series (Paper))
Published in Paperback by Wheeler Pub (October, 1999)
Average review score:

For fans of suspense thriller fictionWolf Moon by Edward Gorman is a 215 minute, 3 cassette audiobook and the story of a double-crossed ex-convict determined to get vicious revenge on the man who murdered his brother, sent him to prison for ten years, and permanently scarred his face by siccing a killer wolf on him. Highly recommended listening for fans of suspense thriller fiction, Wolf Moon is dramatically narrated by Alan Zimmerman who is impressively skilled at bringing Gorman's dark, compelling tale of determination and brutal ruthlessness.

Women & Aging: A Guide to the Literature
Published in Hardcover by Lynne Rienner Publishers (April, 1997)

one of a kindThis is exactly what Dr. Butler's intro says it is - feminist, expert, valuable - should be in every library. That it is not being made available by the publisher (which apparently is the case here) is incredible.

Woodcarving: The Beginner's Guide
Published in Paperback by Sterling Publishing (June, 1992)
Average review score:

Woodcarving: The Beginner's GuideThis is the best book on traditional woodcarving that there is. It was written by a woodcarver from Britain, and was originally published over there. In the book he teaches the proper methods of holding and using the woodcarving chisels. He also teaches proper methods of sharpening and taking care of the chisels. I have been privileged to take two classes from a world-renowned master woodcarver who recommends this book in his classes.
